Salad Bowl Netball Club & Coastal Magic Netball Club Host Hunter Valley Grammar School

There is excitement as Salad Bowl Netball Club & Coastal Magic Netball Club prepares to host Hunter Valley Grammar High School from Australia in an Under 18 mix netball competition. Next week Petero’s Sports Tours will be hosting Hunter Valley Grammar School and delivering a week filled with Culture, Community and Competition. On Monday  7th of April,  they will play a fun mixed netball tournament against teams from the two of the top Nadroga Netball Association Clubs. Petero’s Sports Tours Director Lauren states “This a great way to bring cultures and communities together through sport and competition. By creating mixed competition fixtures it ensures an inclusive event for everyone.”

Nadroga Netball is grateful for this opportunity for its clubs. The visiting team from Australia will bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge about netball. Nadroga’s netball community is eager to learn from their Australian counterparts and gain insights into the grassroots development of netball in Australia. “This is a fantastic opportunity for our young netballers to test their skills against a different group of teams and learn from their experiences,” says Sandeep Prasad, Secretary of Nadroga Netball Association. “We are thrilled to partner with Hunter Valley Grammar High School, through Petero’s Sports Tours and look forward to building new relationships and sharing our passion for netball. The competition will provide a unique platform for cultural exchange, allowing players from both teams to share their stories, traditions, and experiences. It will also offer a chance for Nadroga’s netball community to learn from the Australians’ approaches to coaching, training, and team management. The competition will be a celebration of the sport, showcasing the skills and talents of young netballers from both Nadroga and Australia.

The visit by Hunter Valley Grammar High School is a significant milestone for Nadroga’s Netball, as it highlights the association’s commitment to creating opportunities for netball development. Executives of Nadroga Netball are invested in building nurturing relations with operators like Petero’s Sports Tours to ensure there are opportunities for our players and officials. The event will strengthen Nadroga Netballs position as the ideal choice for such experiences and paving the way for more collaborations and exchanges in future.

We are inviting our netball community to join us tomorrow at Lawaqa park, games will start at 5.30pm and we would love for everyone to get behind and support all the teams taking part in the tournament tomorrow.
